Criminal Defense in Wake County and Surrounding Areas
Wake County, North Carolina operates under District 10 for prosecutorial
court, Superior Court, and District Court. Some cities may have their
own individual courthouses for cases that do not require escalation. The
Raleigh Police Department Headquarters and the Wake County Sheriff’s
Office both have jurisdiction over much of Wake County.
We offer criminal defense in the following towns and cities of Wake County and more:
Apex: A short drive down the 64, southwest from Raleigh, Apex is one of the fastest
growing suburbs in America with a population greater than 53,000. The
Apex Police Department is located on the corner of Saunders and Salem.
Cary: Much of the western reaches of Wake County, beyond North Carolina State
University, belongs to Cary, North Carolina. The population of more than
160,000 people live across a large area of land. The Cary Police Department
is located off Chapel Hill, or the 54. Town of Cary handles some cases as well.
Fuquay-Varina: Driving south on the 401 will take you to small Fuquay-Varina, with its
population under 20,000 people. On North Main Street, the Fuquay-Varina
Police Department can be found.
Garner: Between Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina is Garner, North Carolina. An estimated
population of 30,000 marks the city as growing in population. Its proximity
to Raleigh allows residents to travel easily to the larger city for many
courthouse issues. The Garner Polcie Department is located near the DMV, off 7th Avenue and not far from the 70.
Holly Springs: A rapidly growing suburb of Raleigh is Holly Springs, southeast on 1, just
south of Apex. The population in 2010 was recorded at about 25,000, whereas
it was only around 10,000 in 2000. You can find the Holly Springs Police
Department off Holly Spring Road, near Fire Station 1.
Knightdale: Travelers heading east down the 87 out of Raleigh will soon find themselves
in Knightdale, a town with approximately 15,000 people. Despite the relatively
small size of the town, it still has its own Knightdale Police Department
off Smithfield Road.
Morrisville: Where the 40 and the 540 intersect west of Raleigh, you can find Morrisville.
The town is part of the Research Triangle metropolitan area, and its population
is growing year-after-year, currently above 22,000. Adjacent to Fire Station
1 and Morrisville Town Hall, the Morrisville Police Department is located,
where anyone arrested in the area will be taken for processing.
Raleigh: Of course, our Wake County criminal defense lawyer helps people in the
capital city of North Carolina: Raleigh. The population today is nearly
at half-a-million, marking it as the second largest city in the state.
The Wake County Justice Center, Wake County Courthouse, and the Wake County
Sheriff’s Office are all located off McDowell Street, along Salisbury
Street. The Courts Clerk U.S. District Court and Federal Courthouse are
nearby on Person Street and New Bern Avenue.
Rolesville: Roseville is northeast of Raleigh, up the 401. It is one of the smallest
towns in Wake County, with a population of just about 6,000. However,
it is also swiftly growing. The small Rolesville Police Department building
can be found off the 401/Main Street near the southwest entrance of town.
Wake Forest: Traveling north up the 1 and past the 540 from Raleigh will take you to
Wake Forest, North Carolina. The population here has ballooned lately,
nearly doubling up to 43,000 people in about 20 years. In the northern
suburbs of the city, the Wake Forest Police Department is placed, adjacent
to HL Miller Park.
Wendell: Heading to the eastern end of Wake County, down the 87 from Raleigh, may
bring you to small Wendell, with just 6,000 or so people living there.
The Wendell Police Department was established at nearly the exact center
of town, between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
Zebulon: Beyond Wendell along the 87, even past Lizard Lick, lies Zebulon, one of
the most interestingly named towns in Wake County. The population here
is even smaller than Wendell – at just about 5,100 people –
even though it is nearer to the highway and features a Walmart Supercenter.
Off the 96/Arendell Avenue, you can find most of the town’s governmental
establishments, including the Zebulon Police Department.
